Whats your favorite thing about the Dstrezzed Antwerp store?
The historic house where the store is situated dates back to the early 1800s. If these walls could talk, they would share the most fascinating stories. From the huge marble fireplace mantle to the massive ornate stained glass window, these authentic elements are sure to impress anyone! Believe it or not, Napoleon Bonaparte supposedly spent at least one night under this roof while he was Emperor of France. At that time, the mayor of Antwerp resided within this house, and he and Napoleon were rumored to have been close friends. It really gets your imagination going, doesn’t it?

Who is the most boldly of the team and why?
Let me put it this way: for smooth sailing, two key elements are crucial. Firstly, a knowledgeable and trustworthy crew upon whom the Captain can depend at any given moment. Secondly, a seasoned and resourceful Captain steering with a clear direction. When these ingredients align, the ship can weather any storm and overcome any obstacle. As a crew, we embody boldness.

If your fashion store had a theme song, what would it be, and why?
Sultans of Swing by the Dire Straits. Doesn’t really need any explaining does it?

Antwerp, often referred to as the "fashion capital" or "fashion city," is renowned for its significant contributions to the fashion industry. What's your favorite spot in the city to people-watch and get fashion inspiration?
Be sure to visit the Fashion Museum (MOMU) located on Nationalestraat—it's a true fashion temple. Nearby, you'll discover the works of several renowned Belgian couturiers such as Dries Van Noten, Christian Wijnants, and Ann Demeulemeester. Personally, my favorite source of inspiration is the newly re-opened Royal Museum of Fine Arts (KMSKA). It's a space where the old seamlessly merges with the new in a harmonious yet daring manner, maintaining respect while occasionally stirring controversy

Tell us about a funny or interesting behind-the-scenes moment at the store that customers might not know about.
Beneath our sleek and highly professional-looking register, alongside an impressive selection of office supplies, lies an even broader assortment of sweets, cookies, and chocolates. It's a veritable cookie paradise! What can I say, working diligently tends to stir up quite the appetite!

If you had to pick one fashion item from your store to wear every day for the rest of your life, what would it be, and why?
While these might not be the trendiest items in our collection, they are undoubtedly our essential bodywear! Our bamboo cotton/comfort stretch t-shirts and boxers are simply unbeatable. Farewell, Calvins!

Are there any local influencers or fashion icons in Antwerp whose style you think aligns with the store's offerings?
Yannick Somers, Vincent Banic, Matteo Simoni, Tom Waes, Christiaan Graulus, Ward Lemmelijn, Metejoor and Sieg De Doncker to name a few. 

If you could have one fashion-related superpower (for example, the ability to instantly match any outfit or the power to make any garment comfortable), what would it be, and how would you use it at work?
Well, not exactly a superpower, but let's run with it. I'd love the ability to provide instant, in-store clothing alterations. Of course, these alterations would be carried out by skilled tailoring services. Ideally, I envision an atelier tucked away in the back of the store where we could handle these alterations ourselves. I mean, originally, I was going to wish for the ability to fly, but let's face it, that doesn't quite sync up with the world of fashion, does it?
